Basic Policy

General Incorporated Japan Quest Association (hereinafter referred to as "Association"), is a corporation that handles the personal information of many people, including test takers, people related to the Association, and the Association staff, in the course of operating the Association's certification program, considers the protection of personal information as the basis of its business activities and its appropriate management as its social responsibility. We believe that the protection of personal information is fundamental to our business activities and that it is our social responsibility to manage such information appropriately. Based on this common understanding, all employees of the Association, including its officers, are committed to the protection of personal information in accordance with the basic policy set forth below.

  1. When personal information is provided by an individual, the Association will clearly state in advance the purpose for which the information is to be used, and will not use the information beyond the scope necessary to achieve that purpose (hereinafter referred to as "non-purpose use"). The Association prohibits the use of personal information for non-purpose use, and will take necessary measures to ensure that the information is not used for any other purpose.     Although the provision of personal information to the Association is voluntary, please be advised that if you do not provide the information necessary for the registration of examinees with the Association, you may be deemed to have declined the application.
